"They have a trained staff whose only job is to make sure you get the help you need"
It’s difficult for me to summarize how I feel about Face It TOGETHER. I have been a client for over four years, and in that time, not only have I grown to consider the staff my friends, I also consider them family. They took me in when I was homeless, drunk, alone and afraid.
They have helped me learn the life skills that were missing. Incarceration, loneliness, and fear were the dominant forces in my life, but they, with the help of the 12 steps have taught me that I don’t have to live that way anymore. The staff at Face It TOGETHER has helped me to do just that. To face my issues head on, and learn that it’s ok to ask for help, and that they will do anything they can for someone who is willing to step up and do the footwork. As the old proverb goes, “you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink.” In my case, I was a donkey, but they are patient. They never say “you can’t do it.”
I am proud to say that with their help, I am now able to give back to them, and hopefully to you as well. If you need help… Face It TOGETHER has a trained staff whose only job is to make sure you get the help you need. Please call, email, or visit. Help is there, when you’re ready for it.
